Mary is an experienced grants, operations and finance management professional, with a deep-seated passion for human rights and gender equality. She works with international, regional and national organizations helping them to develop equitable grant-making and operations systems that drive inclusion, equity, growth, and effectiveness for scaled impact.
She is currently a grants and operations manager at Co-Impact Philanthropic Funds Inc. She is also board member at She's The First and an inspired mentor for girls and young women. Mary’s education background is in strategic operations management and finance.

Mildred is a Kenyan Gender Justice & Disability Justice Advocate. She is a Global Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity and the Disability Liaison at the University of Nairobi. Her Platform, Equity Voice, showcases courageous conversations on equity from a Social Justice & intersectional lens. She is a Board Member at The Action Foundation, a member of the Just Cities Working Group and Kenya Network of Women with Disabilities. Inspired by her lived realities as a Woman with disability and professional experience, she advocates for Just, Inclusive and Healthier societies. Her academic and professional background is in Public Policy and Development Studies.

Barlet has over 17 years solid experience as a specialist, leader, and manager in integrated programming across humanitarian development and peace sectors in the East and Horn of Africa and Ukraine working among the domain of protection of forcibly displaced persons from Sudan, South Sudan, Somali, Ethiopia, Uganda, DRC, Rwanda, Burundi, Eritrean’s, Yemeni and Ukraine alongside the host communities. He has worked with a diverse base of donors strategically connecting programs into a cohesive country/regional portfolio aligned to institutional/donor strategies that alleviate the deepest sufferings, builds affected population resilience and enhance their voice, wellbeing, and dignity.
Barlet has a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, associate degree in Microfinance and Community Economic Development. Master’s in development studies specialized in Organizational Development and Doctorate student in Sustainable development. Currently, Executive Director Refugee Consortium in Kenya.

Shellmith is a high performing Senior Manager with over 16+ years in the Public Sector of extensive success in strategy, management and execution. She is currently director corporate planning and strategy at the Office of the Auditor-General, Kenya and has expertise in providing strategic direction, project management, planning and finance, monitoring and evaluation, policy formulation and analysis, resource mobilization, data management and reporting. She seeks to connect people with their purpose and bring value that positively transforms people’s lives and livelihoods.
She is passionate about serving in boards and has pursued professional courses on Corporate Governance and Strategic Leadership. She brings her knowledge and experience to Riziki Source to contribute to their vision of “A world where persons with disabilities thrive in the work economy.”

Caroline is a consultant on sustainable food systems and a Ph.D. researcher in Food Science and Technology at the University of Nairobi (researching on food and nutrition security in Kenya and Uganda). She completed her Master’s degree in Nutrition and rural development at Ghent University (Belgium, Kenya) and her bachelor’s degree in food science and technology at University of Nairobi (Kenya).
Her interests lie around sustainable development, inclusion, SDGs, sustainable food environments, co-learning and participatory methods, nutrition resilience, climate adaptation, rural development etc. She has many years of experience working on the ground in the Global South with farmers, innovators, startups SMEs, research agencies, government agencies, community organisations and non-profits (both local and international) to address various developmental issues.

As a registered person with a disability in Kenya, Dr. Ambole brings both professional expertise and personal insights to the board. Her lived experience navigating barriers to accessibility strengthens her resolve to champion initiatives that improve outcomes for persons with disabilities in Kenya and beyond. Dr. Ambole’s extensive expertise in strategic research, program design, and partnership-building contribute to advancing Riziki Source’s mission to create a more accessible and equitable future for all.

Alan has a strong background in media consultancy, content creation, and leadership. His work is dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices and promoting social change.
