Who we are
Riziki Source was founded in 2015 as a direct response to the prejudice, stereotypes and exclusionary hiring practices that its founder, a person with physical disability resulting from childhood polio-infection, faced in his job search journey after graduating from the university. This experience fueled his determination to address the barriers that talented persons with disabilities face in accessing dignified and fulfilling work. This was the creation of Riziki Source, a tech-enabled platform that connects persons with disabilities with economic opportunities.
Riziki Source works to bridge the gap between persons with disabilities and the workforce. We facilitate workplace diversity, disability inclusion, self-employment and linkages for youth with disabilities in Kenya who have particular skill sets, currently untapped for recruitment as a value proposition for companies, organizations and government formations.
As experts in workplace inclusion for persons with disabilities, we adopt a two-sided individualized focused approach to support our clients and partners, empowering them to become champions for disability inclusion.
Riziki Source is transforming perceptions and enhancing the representation of persons with disabilities in Kenya, empowering them to participate more actively in policy-making and access greater employment opportunities.
