Meet Benard Opiyo, a remarkable participant at Riziki Source, an organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities in Kenya. Through Riziki’s extensive training programs, Benard acquired essential business skills and developed a comprehensive business plan that led to the establishment of his own venture in charcoal briquette production.
With the support of a partner organization that provided him with a machine, Benard has not only created a sustainable business but also employed four persons with disabilities, fostering an inclusive work environment.

His journey doesn’t stop there; Benard actively mentors other individuals with disabilities, sharing his knowledge and experiences to inspire them.
