- Placement Officers (2 Positions)
The Placement Officer will support youth with disabilities to secure
jobs, internships, and apprenticeships. This includes preparing them
for employment, linking them to opportunities, and ensuring they
receive the support they need to succeed in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Candidate Recruitment and Support
- Identify and recruit job-ready youth with disabilities.
- Conduct basic assessments of candidates’ skills and interests.
- Support candidates with CV writing and interview preparation.
Job Matching and Placement
- Match candidates with suitable job openings.
- Coordinate interviews and support communication with employers.
- Track all placements and maintain records.
Follow-up and Retention Support
- Provide guidance to placed candidates.
- Identify challenges early and offer support.
- Maintain regular contact with employers and placed candidates.
- Develop alumni activities for participants who have gone through the program to support others and enrich the program.
Monitoring and Reporting
- Maintain updated records.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly progress reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in HR, Social Sciences, Psychology, Education, or
- related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in job placement, HR, or youth
- programs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for supporting youth and persons with disabilities.
- Employer Relations and Engagement Officer
The Employer Relations and Engagement Officer will build strong
partnerships with employers and support them to offer job, internship,
and apprenticeship opportunities for youth with disabilities. The role
will focus on promoting inclusive hiring and supporting employers to
create accessible and supportive workplaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with employers across different
- sectors.
- Engage employer associations to promote disability-inclusive hiring.
- Organize employer forums, meetings, and engagements.
- Secure commitments for job placements and internships.
Support to Employers.
- Provide guidance on practical ways to implement disability inclusion.
- Support employers to improve their HR policies and practices.
- Coordinate disability inclusion awareness sessions for HR teams and managers.
Placement Support.
- Work with internal teams to match employer needs with qualified
- candidates.
- Support employer recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Collect feedback from employers for placement improvement.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate employer engagement records.
- Prepare progress reports and employer success stories.
Qualifications
- Degree in HR, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related
- field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in employer engagement,
- partnerships, or HR.
- Experience or interest in disability inclusion is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Inclusion Officer
The Inclusion Officer will support employers and candidates to ensure
workplaces are accessible, safe, and supportive for employees with
disabilities. The role will also advise on reasonable accommodations,
inclusion practices, and disability awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct workplace assessments.
- Recommend reasonable accommodations.
- Guide employers on inclusive recruitment and workplace practices.
Training and Awareness
- Deliver disability awareness sessions.
- Prepare tools and materials to support inclusion.
Candidate Support
- Support youth transitioning into new jobs.
- Help address workplace challenges.
- Work closely with the Placement and Employer Relations team.
Documentation and Reporting
- Keep updated records of inclusion activities.
- Prepare progress updates and success stories.
Qualifications
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Disability Studies, Gender
- Studies, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in disability inclusion or related work.
- Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
