FROM POTENTIAL TO PROFESSION
Talanta Bridge
Talanta Bridge is Riziki Source’s flagship talent development and placement initiative. It prepares youth with disabilities for the world of work by equipping them with relevant skills, building strong professional networks, and linking them to job opportunities in both the formal and informal sectors.
Through the Riziki Job Board, job seekers can easily access job opportunities via:
- Riziki Mobile App – available for download on the Google Play Store
- Web Portal – sign up at https://app.rizikisource.org
- SMS – send the word “RIZIKI” to 20280
Further, employers and businesses are supported to become more disability-confident and inclusive by building their capacity to hire, support, and retain talent with disabilities.
Jiandae is a work readiness and soft skills training initiative under the Talanta Bridge umbrella. It focuses on building foundational competencies for youth with disabilities, helping them identify suitable career paths, build self confidence, and develop the market relevant skills needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market. Jiandae combines interactive virtual sessions with a self-paced learning platform (LMS), covering:
- Digital literacy
- Communication and professionalism
- Interview skills and CV writing
- Financial literacy
- Mental health and well-being
- Self-leadership and goal setting

Boresha Ajira is the employer-facing stream of Talanta Bridge. It focuses on transforming workplace cultures and systems to accommodate and empower employees with disabilities. This includes:
- Disability awareness and sensitisation training
- Workplace accessibility assessments,
- Adoption of reasonable accommodations,
- Inclusive recruitment and post-placement support
Boresha Ajira works in tandem with Jiandae to ensure trained candidates can access inclusive, prepared work environments, making it a full-circle solution from talent preparation to sustainable employment.
Entrepreneurship also provides a great pathway for persons with disabilities (PWDs) to achieve economic independence and build confidence.Yet, many face significant barriers including limited access to capital, business training, and market linkages. InuaBiz addresses these challenges through two targeted streams, designed to support entrepreneurs at different stages of their journey: those launching new ideas and those scaling existing enterprises.
This is a three day bootcamp designed for entrepreneurs with disabilities who have innovative business ideas. Through intensive workshops and expert mentorship, participants refine their concepts and build viable business models. The program culminates in a pitch session, where the top three innovators receive grant awards to help turn their ideas and passions into sustainable, fully functioning businesses.
Then there’s the Inua Biz Accelerator, which is designed for youth who already have established enterprises. We carry out assessments to understand their unique needs and then offer tailored support in areas such as marketing, financial management, bookkeeping, and overall business growth. One-on-one follow-ups ensure that our entrepreneurs continue to thrive long after the accelerator phase is complete.
At Riziki Source we believe that finances should never be a barrier to progress, Riziki Invest is making sure that entrepreneurs with disabilities can access the financial resources they need at favourable interest rates. This initiative is helping businesses scale, thrive, and become models of success, proving that with the right support, disability is not a limitation.
